Kilgore movie-makers are lining up another short film production — the shoot’s set in July downtown and the team’s working to round out the cast.
“REEL East Texas Studios is gearing up for our summer film production of ‘Sub 13,’ and we’re on the lookout for our two leading actresses,” the local nonprofit announced this week.
According to the recent casting call, REEL East Texas will be auditioning actresses to play ‘Branscomb’ (a woman of color between the ages of 35 and 50, approximately 5’7″ tall) as well as Esme (a 16-20 year-old woman).
Auditions are set for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 24, at the Texan Theater (201 S. Kilgore St.). Interested actors can sign up in advance via info@reeleasttexas.com.
