There’s ruff water ahead for the city pool this afternoon.
Per veteran manager Josie Atchley, “It’s a free day,” a special treat for Kilgore’s doggo denizens (and their human best friends). Consequently, it also marks the last day for the pool’s 2025 summer season.
Be sure to congratulate Atchley on more than three decades spent managing the pool for the city and community. She’ll be honored by City of Kilgore officials during their regular meeting Tuesday evening.
