Incumbent Dana Sneed held onto his Place 7 seat on the Kilgore ISD School Board Saturday evening, and newcomer Johna Tritt will soon take Place 5 on the dais according to unofficial results released Saturday evening.
Place 6 trustee Rachel Harrington was unopposed in her re-election bid this season.
Sneed drew a challenge from Rudy Galvan during the Spring 2025 election cycle, while Tritt faced candidate Ubaldo Meraz. According to the basic tabulation released by City of Kilgore officials May 3, Sneed collected 600 votes to 569 for Galvan; Tritt drew 836 while Meraz netted 288.
