The Kilgore FFA Booster Club is hosting its 22nd annual Chili Cook-off Saturday, welcoming all comers to help raise funds for local efforts.
Set for 6 p.m. at the Kilgore Ag Farm at 225 Wilshire Road, the chili’s free to taste, and tickets will be available for purchase in order to vote for entries.
Awards include People’s Choice for Best Chili as well as Best Decorated Booth.
Raffle tickets will also be available for purchase at $5 for one or five for $20. Prizes include $500 cash, a 52-quart RTIC cooler or a cooker set. Winners need not be present to win.
The organizers are excited for chili weather: “Dress warm and be ready for a fun evening with friends and family.”
