Kilgore Improvement & Beautification Association’s Gwen Winters recently announced the nonprofit’s Yard of the Month winners for the month of May.
America’s Semiquincentennial Celebration (that’s 250 years to you and me) is coming up soon, with the nationwide ‘America250’ effort celebrating the anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. It’s all set for July 4, 2026, with events planned throughout the year, Winters noted, and KIBA encourages the Kilgore community to decorate accordingly as the Independence Day holiday approaches.
“Kilgore patrons and citizens, join in the celebration – bring out the red, white and blue,” Winters said.
