D’Lites kicks-off new special for Bulldogs

Downtown D’Lites is starting a game day tradition for Kilgore Bulldogs, fans and diners.

“For a few years, Coach Clint Fuller and his wife, Emily, have been coming into D’Lites to get lunch on game days,” says restaurateur Debbie VanDoren. “They once said that they only lost when they didn’t come in, so they have made it their practice to come and get lunch there.

The new play at D’Lites will be the ‘Game Day Special’ of a hot dog and a bag of chips with a drink for $6.95. Upgrading to a chili dog’s another $2.

Granted, it’s not a 100 percent guarantee of victory, but all in good fun – and go Dogs!

“In honor of game day, I make sure that they get the number one table marker as well!”
